Great news! As an official co-author of The Gratitude Book Project: Celebrating Moms and Motherhood, I want to share my gratitude with you!
I was so excited to take part in this book, because I believe gratitude is how you enjoy life to its fullness and get the most out of every situation. And as well as the joys that my children bring me every day, I am grateful for the unexpected lessons being a mum/mom has taught me about myself. Despite the sleep deprivation, the exhaustion, the cluelessness and frustration (or perhaps… because of?) motherhood is the best thing that ever have happened to me.
My entry was about one of those unexpected lessons, and how I came to learn that perfection is not better than good.
Inspiring stories from the book also include:
- A huge belly laugh can cure almost anything. (Meredith Liepelt, p. 21)
- The best things for a kid are warm cookies, cold milk and someone to listen. (Donna Malchuk, p. 33)
- How to be resourceful and have courage, no matter what life throws your way. (Teresa C. Lea, p. 53)
- And 181 more stories expressing gratitude for the strength, love and life lessons we have learned from our mothers.
The book is so fresh off the press it’s only available at Amazon US and just in time for Mother’s Day too if you celebrate yours in May.
I like to think of it as a gift that will keep you in good spirits all year round. Pick up your copy of “my book” today on Amazon: http://amzn.to/ifQO6z
In keeping with the spirit of the project, net proceeds from book sales through this link will go to Women for Women International with its mission of “changing the world, one woman at a time.”
Well done Grace. So lovely to contribute to a great inspiring book.
Thanks Naomi. Yes it’s great to be able to collaborate and contribute to inspire others, especially when it comes to motherhood.
