Grace Marshall is an award-winning author, speaker and productivity expert who specialises in transforming how organisations approach work, change, and challenge.
With over a decade of experience training more than 10,000 professionals across industries, Grace has become a trusted advisor for leaders seeking to build resilient, future-ready teams. Her clients include Boots, BT, Sky Media, Sage, NHS, NSPCC and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Known for her refreshingly human, relatable approach, Grace curates conversations that challenge conventional thinking, equipping leaders and teams with the framework to transform their outlook on change – beyond systems and processes, to how we respond on a human level to change, challenge and uncertainty.
Her work has earned her multiple accolades: Virtual Speaker of the Year, CMI Management Book of the Year: Best Commuter’s Read, and Finalist in the Business Book Awards. Her practical insights on leadership, high-performance work cultures, and wellbeing in changing times have been featured in The Guardian, Forbes, Huffpost, CNN, London Economic Forum, Stylist, Work Life Central, and on BBC Radio.
An avid connector, Grace sits on the board of trustees for two charities, where she champions women in leadership and supports initiatives that provide hospitality, connection, and services within the local community to reduce poverty and disadvantage.
She lives in Stafford, in the middle of the UK with her husband, two teenage kids, and a perpetually-bouncy puppy, where she is continually learning to be good-enough most of the time, with intermittent lapses into hopelessness and brilliance.
AV requirements
Grace’s presentations feature sound, custom fonts and interactive polls, so her preference is to run from her own device. Where the set up requires slides to be pre-loaded, Grace will liaise with your tech team to ensure these elements are showing correctly.
Grace will always arrange to arrive ahead of time for A/V set up, tech checks and – particularly when she is the closing keynote speaker – to connect with the audience and other speakers during the event.
Grace brings:
- A Macbook Air
- HDMI, VGA and USB-A and USB-C connectors
- Wireless presentation clicker
- A slide deck using PowerPoint with embedded audio and custom fonts
- A presentation designed to work on 16×9 screens
- A small box as a prop
Grace needs:
- A wireless, lapel or headset microphone
- Mains power socket to power her laptop
- A projector or screen with HDMI or VGA cable, or Clickshare
- A speaker system that receives audio output from the laptop
- Wireless internet connection
- A small bar table/stool to put a box on
- Optional: External comfort monitor
The experience
Grace’s slides are intended to be visual and audio accompaniments to her talks, not for printing or circulating separately.
For hybrid events, Grace recommends having a dedicated host or producer to look after the virtual experience, and can design interactive elements to be inclusive of both in-person and virtual audiences.
For virtual events, Grace can manage interactive chat, polls and breakout discussions on Zoom, or she can work with your co-host or producer on your platform of choice.
Dress code: jeans and jacket, formal business attire, or creatively expressive? Every event is different, so please give Grace an idea of your intended dress code and any plans for stage design or room dressing.
Photography, Videography and Promotion: Grace is happy to work with you to promote your event internally or publicly. This can include pre-event video, interview, PR/media contribution, article, blog or promotion on social media. Grace can also bring her own videographer to capture highlights of the day.
